ABOUT US

Orolacche: 49,000 hours of experience accumulated in 23 years of operation!

Orolacche was founded in 2000, after a long period of apprenticeship in some of the most prestigious workshops in Turin, with which the owner, Jasch, worked to create the Accorsi-Ometto Museum and the galaxy of antique dealers and private individuals connected to it.

The first years of work were not easy because building a name and credibility was necessary. However, thanks to the experience gained and the relationships with essential artisan workshops, Orolacche established itself locally and nationally on the local and national scene.

In the 2000s, the Castle of San Giorgio Canavese, the Royal Palace of Turin, the Palazzina Liberty in Corso Cairoli, and the Cotti Palace in Brusasco, among many others, were restored. This was followed by national and international work, restorations for prestigious private houses in Milan, Bologna, Arezzo, and Rome, participation in the gilding restoration of the Royal Palace of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and technical consulting on some international construction sites in Russia and North Africa.

Orolacche began its activity as a company dedicated to the restoration of lacquer and gilding, but later also specialized in the restoration of wood, frescoes, and paintings.

Over the years, the many public and private commissions have allowed Jasch to create a team of artisans who work with the company to meet all customer requirements, creating a small network of excellence and uniqueness in the artisan scene.

This predisposition to teamwork led Jasch in 2014 to start the association Artes a.p.s., which aims to create a network among several excellent artisan companies and professionals to promote craftsmanship and art in the area.

Orolacche represents a conceptual and practical vision of craftsmanship made with high standards, searching for ancient techniques and uniqueness of service, proposing Made in Italy and local knowledge.

A workshop is a magical place of transformation, contemplation, and vision, where technology, knowledge, and craftsmanship give new life to objects, memories, and symbols of a people's culture, traditions, and ambitions. A place full of scents, objects, and the passage of time; old tools next to new technologies that come together to create the customer's dream.

We have been doing artistic iron and metal work since 1965, making iron chandeliers and wall sconces, outdoor copper streetlamps, chairs, tables, etc., in style or according to design. We can build custom and unique items.Engaging in the restoration of antique iron artifacts, we work together with various architectural and interior design firms. In the workshop, we build everything strictly by hand. We do not use machines. Instead, we emboss sheet metal leaves by hand, and assemble them with rivets and hand-forged iron.
